If hermits may comprise a clan of three, then, yes, I am a semi-annual hermit.

Soon after the sun flees the Pacific Northwest, I flee to the high desert of northern Arizona.

Our location in the hills of the Juniperwood Ranch has no Internet, cell service, radio reception, utilities, or maintained roads.

There is satellite service available (Jet Blue?), but I would not pay them anything.

Tried them at a neighbors once; upload speed was roughly one megabyte per hour.
