I'm not sure how to solve this problem using a Venn diagram:

A survery of 100 students showed the following

48 take English
49 take history
38 take language
17 take English and history
15 take English and language
18 take history and language
7 take all three

How many students:
Take history but neither of the two
Take English and history but not language
take none of the three
take just one of the three
take exactly two of the three
do not take language

Thanks!

Since you have not shown ANY work (or thoughts about what work might be necessary) I assume that you need some basic instruction.

Problems like this one are often solved by using a Venn diagram to organize the given information. Here's a website which might help you:

After studying the examples there, please try your problem. If you're still having trouble, please repost, showing the work you've done.
