how can you tell which order of expression is less, greater or equal?

7^-2 is 1/7^2 1/49 (1/7)^-2 is 1/1/(7)^2 1/17^2 1/1/49 49 Is 1/49 less, greater or equal to 49?

7^-1 1/7 (1/7)^-1 1/7^-1 -6/7 Is -6/7 less, greater or equal to 49?

(1/7)^-1 -6/7 (1/7)^-2 49

after simplifying or evaluating how do you tell from the answer which is less, greater or equal fom the examples above?

I'm sorry, but I can't make heads or tails of this...?

Kindly please reply with clarification, using carriage returns, spacing, punctuation, and other means to make your meaning clear. Thank you. :D
