I don't understand why the meaning of the word drawing in the expression "objects and drawings"

They are quoting a US teaching standard that says that students of this age (kindergarten, age 5) should be able to work with numbers by moving objects, or by drawing pictures:

CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.K.OA.A.2​

Solve addition and subtraction word problems, and add and subtract within 10, e.g., by using objects or drawings to represent the problem.​

A drawing is a picture you draw.
