How do you know it's a math question?

As example: 6,7,9,8,6,8, ?
answer is 6 (letters in days of the week beginning with Monday);
that's not "math".

Boy...I can't get it either! Must be really "subtle".

Apparently, more kids than adults get this one:
m,t,w,t,f,s,?

Got it (I think):
...38, 76, 2, 78, 156, 2

add previous 2, multiply previous 2, divide previous 2, repeat, repeat....
1+2 = 3
2*3 = 6
6/3 = 2
6+2 = 8
...
sort of a weird Fibby sequence.

I'll drink to that :!:
(but then I'll drink to anything)

Oh, come one! This one is trivial.

Index from 0, one at a time

f(x) = 1.00000 - 99.39325*x + 310.02819*x2 - 388.14989x3 + 259.57486x4 - 102.63791x5 + 25.04801x6 - 3.80131x7 + 0.34855x8 - 0.01764x9 + 0.00038x10

P.S. I think TKH has been too

Perhaps spencer would be interested in that sequence of yours, TK 8-)
