Here's a puzzle that involves numbers and letters (but no algebra!). The letters are the first letters in a word. Your job is to work out the words.

For example:
24 H in a D would be 24 hours in a day

1. 26 L of the A
2. 12 S of the Z
3. 54 C in a D with J
4. 18 H on a GC
5. 90 D in a RA
6. 21 D on a D
7. 1 W on a U
8. 3 BM, SHTR
9. 88 K on a P
10. 8 S on a SS
11. 200 D for PG in M
12. 6 S on the AF

Enjoy!!

Most of those are easy, so I'll leave them for Steven. ;)

For 1, there are 24 letters in αß

26 Letters of the Alphabet

12 Signs of the Zodiac

54 Cards in a Deck with Jokers

18 Holes on a Golf Course

90 Degress in a Right Angle

1 Wheel on a Unicycle

3 Blind Mice, See How They Run

88 Keys on a Piano

If it were WS instead of S, then it could be:

6 White Stripes on the American Flag

6 stars on the Australian flag

But how about

13. 8 S on the AF?

An idea for:
If it were PR instead of PG, then it could be:

200 Dollars for Pennsylvania Railroad in Monopoly

(That would be the original US version of Monopoly.)

Is there another version of Monopoly with a $200 property having initials PG?

Will somebody please solve #6. :insane:

@Otis You are so close for #11. Hint: The US version is relevant.

Hint for #6:
You use it in Monopoly.
