y=12^x
What does this mean and how do you explain it on a graph?
What does this mean and how do you explain it on a graph?
This means y equals to 12 raised to the power of x.
Do you happen to know the shape of the graph of \(\displaystyle y = e^x\)? If so, it's a similar graph, only that the part before the y-axis is lower and the part after the y-axis is higher than the standard \(\displaystyle y = e^x\) graph.
If not, you can always use the traditional method of taking random values of x and plug it in the equation to see how it looks like.![]()
