Here is the problem verbatim:
An architect designs a rectangular flower garden such that the width is exactly two-thirds of the length. If 260 feet of antique picket fencing are to be used to enclose the garden, find the dimensions of the garden.
So I figured i'd use the letters L & W to denote length and width. So 2lx2w=260, right? but now what? Could you show me how to complete the problem?
Thanks,
Sarah
