hi,
is/are there any algebriac formulation(s)possible:
Q] A deck of 52 cards are shuffled as: first ,top most card is drawn&
placed at 27th place(counted from bottom)& then the the bottom most
card is drawn& placed at 26th place from top?this is repeated.this is a round
CAN there be a formula/ formulae which answers the following ques:
q1] at which position will the card which was initially at the
top of the deck be immediately after the 1st 17 rounds of shuffling?
q2]denote after 26 rounds the origional configuration will be
repeated. :?

Can you please be CLEARER?
"this is repeated" : how often?
"this is a round" : what is a round?

Take 12 instead if 52; then topmost = 7 from bottom, bottommost 6 from top:
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 : start
2 3 4 5 6 1 7 8 9 10 11 12 : top placed 7th from bottom
2 3 4 5 6 12 1 7 8 9 10 11 : bottom placed 6th from top
Is that the way it works?

If so, then just carry on using with above; then apply same logic to 52.

To be clearer:
ans:each time this set of operations is done one round is of shuffling is
said to be completed
