Hi I have this stat 100 question that I am just not wrapping my head around.
Here it is
Suppose we have a population which is normally distributed with the mean u and standard deviation Q( this symbol should be upside down) .
- use the standard normal tables to find the z-scores of the first and third quartiles and from this find a formula for the interquartile range of the population in terms of u and Q(upside down)
I know how to calculate the second part put cant figure how to give m and Q values so I can find the z score ... any help???
Looking forward to your reply!
