Normal Distribution of Scores

I am just checking to see if I got this problem correct.

Mean-50
SD=3.2
Student score is 1.2 SD above the mean.

x - 50 = 1.2 * 3.2
x-50=3.84
x=53.84

or am I thinking to hard.

50+1.2=51.20
