Can nlp be used to solve problems such as maximising the surface area of a cone inside a sphere ? Is it easier than just using applied differentiation ? If a diff is used, getting the original values for height and radius in terms of another H or R can sometimes be tricky. Thanks. Could nlp be used in all max/min problems ?
