Hi, i am having some real trouble solving this recurrence relation. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
an = 4an−1 + 5an−2 + (-1)n(36n-6) + [(-1)n(11n-10)]/2n] For n is >= 2
and a0=1 a1=0.5
I know that i need to split it into a homogenous and non homogenous part bn and pn and then an = bn + pn
respectively. I think i have found
bn= C15n - C21n
Im not sure how to find pn and then a solution from that.
Some help would be great with steps if possible
