in particular, it would be good for you to show the direct translation from that question in
English into its most direct algebra equation before other manipulations of the equation
are shown.

Without you showing that, I can't tell if you understand what the direct algebra equation is,
and if you just lucked into an equivalent equation as highlighted above.



You need to outright define what your variable(s) is/are.

Then follow that with your equation(s).
