Find the derivative.

y = (2x - 1)^3(x + 7)^-3

a. = 45(2x - 1)^2(x + 7)^-4
b. = 45(2x - 1)^3(x + 7)^-2
c. = 45(2x - 1)^2(x + 7)^-3 I think this is it but I am not sure
d. = 45(2x - 1)^3(x + 7)^-4

There is just a rash of problem submissions WITHOUT showing any work at all. What's the deal? Does Bird Flu cause that?

What do you know about the "Product Rule"? Can you show us what you did? Only in this way can we adjust your confidence level.

You're not alone. I've been watching all of the problems pile up without any work, particularly in the Calculus section, for the past couple of hours. I don't know if these people are under the assumption that giving any answer you feel like, constitutes as "showing your work". It's very strange. :shock:

I thought the sudden rush of posts was a little odd, too. Then I noticed that most of them seemed to be multiple-choice question, that many of the posters had the exact same join-date, that the posts covered very much the same material at the same level of difficulty, that most posters refused to show work or reply to questions, and that many expressed "confusion" in almost the exact same phraseology.

It is enough to make one wonder if these different usernames even represent distinct persons. :?
