Hi, I need help with these homework problem:

1) Find the resultant vector of two forces, one with magnitude 50 and direction 10degrees and the other with magnitude 100 and direction 300degrees.

2) A cable that can withstand 5,250lb is used to pull cargo up an inclined ramp for storage. If the inclination of the ramp is 25.5degrees, find the heaviest piece of cargo that can be pulled up the ramp while assuming that friction is ignored.

Hi, I need a million dollars but don't feel like working.

notice it says "freemathhelp" not "freemath"

The x magnitude is
X=50cos(10) + 100cos(300)
The y magnitude is
Y=50sin(10) + 100sin(300)
The angle is tan-1(Y/X) and the magnitude is sqrt(X²+Y²)

Split the X into two parts, one parallel to the ramp and one perpendicular to it. You can pull the parallel part so
5250 = X*sin(25.5)
