how can i solve this problem

f(X)=3X+5 g(X)=X-5/3

a) f of g(X) b) g of f(X)


should i just plug the numbers in.

Just do the function composition:

. . . . .(f o g)(x) = f(g(x)) = f(x - 5/3) = 3[x - 5/3] + 5 = ...?

Simplify. Then follow the same procedure for the other part.
