I can't figure out a way to solve this series to where the part where numbers are suppose to cancel each other out. I tried finding the first term of the series and finding the ratio and then using the formula a/(1-r) to get the sum of the entire series but I never get it right so I'm doing something wrong and I tried the way where you see how the series adds up and find the numbers that cancel out like the one in the bottom. I know it converges because the homework gives it to me but I need to learn the concept not the answer can someone point me in the right direction.
