need help with substition

hey guys, i really need help. the promblem is 125x+225y=76125. I need to use the substition method to solve for X. I know the answer is x=441-y but how do you get it, i don't understand~!!!!

125(441-y)+225y=76125.

Just multiply it out and solve for y.

Hint: Distribute the 125 to what's inside the parentheses.

You could note that y=441-x, so 125x+225(441-x)=76125.
