Hi, I think I got the question but not so sure.
The question is:
A systematic random sample is to be chosen of size 5, from a class of 30 numbered 01-30. To determine the starting point, a die is thrown and comes up 1. List the lables of the students who will be included in the sample
I tried doing.
pop size/ sample size= 30/5 = 6
then i did 01 +06 = 07 and so on to determine whos in the sample, but by going up in intervals of 6, i only get 07,13,19,25.
Am i doing anything wrong, why do i only get 4 people instead of 5?
