Ok, so i'm still not so great with this whole idea of trig and all it does is frustrates me. The problems i'm stuck on are:

Find all possible values of "x"

a. sin(x)=1/3
b. cot(x)=3/2

I tried figuring out where on the unit circle sin would equal 1/3, but then realized what I was doing was actually trying to find tan when neither problems asked for tan. So then I just confused myself even more with this. I know that there has to be a simple way to clear up my confusion, but so far I can't seem to do it. Any clear explanation(s) on how to do these problems, or one similar to them would be great. Thanks.

A good place to start, since these are not reference-angle values, would probably be the inverse-function keys on your calculator. Then use the graphs of the functions (sine and cosine, respectively) to determine "all" the other solution values.
