the book required for my class (author is rosen) is beyond terrible. I was fine with him not explaining a lot until I got into this section, because this section is a bit harder.

if anyone can help me solve me these problems or direct me to a source that will teach this topic well so i can learn it would greatly help

Looks like you are having trouble to start these problems.

Do you know the definitions of negation, disjunction and conjunction (as referenced in these problems)? What are those?

negation = negative or opposite of, for example truth values for p are T, T, F, and F. for - P they are are F, F, T, T

conjuction= and, for example both propositions p AND q have to be have the truth value T for the conjunction proposition to be true, so only T T works.

disjunction = or. for example at least one of p or q has to have the truth value of T for the disjunction of p v q to be T
