The question is to simplify:
. . .(x2 - 8xy + 15y2)/(x2 - 9y2) × (2x + 6y)/(4x - 20y)
I already have all the work done. I just want to know if 2x+6y can be factored into 2(x+3y).
Work:
. . .[(x - 5y)(x - 3y)] / [(x + 3y)(x - 3y)] × (2x + 6y) / [4(x - 5y)]
Cancelled: (x-5y)(x-5y) , (x-3y)(x-3y)
