Need help studying for Cal exam! (Mostly factoring, simplifying)

Hi! I'm taking a test next week for my high school calculus class, but I'm extremely lost. It seems I forgot all during summer

Here's the list of questions our teacher gave us to study for the test next week:

I don't need you guys to solve them for me, I just need some help figuring out how to solve them. A link to a resource that explains how to solve a problem in relation to any of these, or a related example would be great. Anything helps! I'm just really lost :'(

What were the instructions for each exercise? For instance, many of the equations contain more than one variable. If you are supposed to "solve" these, for which of the variables are you supposed to solve?

For each exercise (or at least for each type of exercise), please reply showing your efforts so far, so we can see where you're needing help in refreshing in the algebra. We'll be glad to provide you with lesson links for your self-study, but it will be helpful to be able to see which links would likely be most helpful.
