need help solving rational expressions when multiplying

x^2-3x-10/5x*15x^2/3x-15

Please place grouping symbols around your numerators and denominators. (Your texting is not clear without them.)

Please explain what you're trying to do. (Multiply something?) Show any work that you can, or explain where you're stuck.

x^2-3x-10/5x*15x^2/3x-15
If you mean \(\displaystyle \left(\frac{x^2- 3x- 10}{5x}\right)\left(\frac{15x^2}{3x- 15}\right)\)
\(\displaystyle =\frac{(x^2- 3x- 10)(15x^2)}{(5x)(3x-15)}= \left(\frac{x^2- 3x- 10}{3x- 15}\right)\left(\frac{15x^2}{5x}\right)\)
then you should be able to see that \(\displaystyle \frac{15x^2}{5x}= 3x\). Also \(\displaystyle 3x- 15= 3(x- 5)\) so that \(\displaystyle \frac{3x}{3x- 15}= \frac{x}{x- 5}\). Finally, \(\displaystyle x^2- 3x- 10= (x- 5)(x+ 2)\).

Can you put all of that together?
