Need help on two math problems can anybody help!

Without the instructions, I'm afraid I'm "lost", too. Sorry.

Sorry about that stapel

Provide an ordered pair of numbers that satisfy the equation

3u-v=7

Write an equation for the line that passes through the point (-4,2) and is perpendicular to the line -6x+2y=11 ( I think I am missing this point totally)

Problem 1

Pick any value for u, then solve for v, and you've got an ordered pair.

Problem 2

-6x+2y=11

I would rewrite this in slope-intercept form:

2y=6x+11

y=3x+11/2

So the slope is three.

If two lines are perpendicular, then the product of their slopes is -1.

3m=-1
m=-1/3

So y=(-1/3)x+b

Now use the given point to find b.
