I would like to know the way of solving this question if anyone can help. The answer in the textbook to this question is around 73 degrees so if someone would like to explain the answer it'll be much appreciated.

vertical height of the slide above ground,

[MATH]h = 9\sin(48) = 7\sin{\theta}[/MATH]
solve for [MATH]\theta[/MATH]

Reread your definitions of the three trig functions in your textbook, and apply the appropriate one.

Start by drawing a diagram. You have a triangle with two sides known and an angle,
Add a dotted line to show the height of the slide.

Use trig. to find the height. Can you divvy up the base of the big triangle?
