need help i don't understand

I dont understand the concept of dirac delta function when looking at it from an aspect of the gaussian distribution and the fourier integral theorem. i need help in understanding these concepts and how they are related as i am assigned to use these function in a advanced school project. can anyone help me by explain this concept with the derivation and proofs please

Thank you so much for the effort u have put in. I was able to understanding from this videos but I still am not clear on how to i link in both the Gaussian function and the Fourier integral theorem as they come under the dirac delta function how exactly can I implement these representations function into determining the direction of the billiards ball
