I can't seem to figure this one out from h/w:

write a multiplication or division sentence to answer the question:


the temperature dropped 4 degrees each hour for 3 hours. What was the total changed in temperature?

(4 degrees/hour) * (3 hours) = 12 degrees

Sometimes the units explain it to you.
