1.What is the slope of the secant line of the function y=-2x(squared)+3x-1 between x=2 and x=6?

2.What is the average rate of change of the function y=2x(squared) +3 between x=x1 and x2 ?

3. What is the slope of the secant line of the function y=4x(squared)-2x+1 between x= x1 and x2 ?

4. What is the average rate of change of the function y=4x(cubed)-2 between x= x1 and x2 ?

5. What is the derivative of the function f(x)=2x(squared)+3 at x?

6.What is the slope of the tangent line of the function f(x) 4x(squared) – 2x +1 at x?

7. What is the slope of the tangent line of the function f(x) = -4x(squared)-5x+2 at x?

8. Consider the function y=x(squared)-3x+2. What is the slope of the tangent line at x=2?

9.Consider the function y=x(squared) -3x+5. At what value of x is the slope of the tangent line equal to 7?

10. Consider the function y=x(squared) +x+9. At what value of y is the slope of the tangent line equal to 5?
