Are you saying you have to graph these two equations?
(a) [MATH]y=-\frac{2}{3}|x+4|[/MATH]
(b) [MATH]y=|x|+3[/MATH]
If so, please show your attempts, or tell us what you find difficult in graphing these. Anything you tell us about your thinking can help us know what help you need.
Evidently you have learned the form [MATH]y=a|x-h|+k[/MATH], which involves translation (shifting the graph) and vertical stretching. So you should be able to tell us what a, h, and k have to do with the graph.
