What is the formula for the perimeter P of a rectangle with width w and length L?

If P = 1500, then what is L, in terms of w?

Using the width as the diameter of the half-circles, what is the circumference of the two half-circles, in terms of w?

You're expected to know these formulas. Since you don't know them, you'll need to review. You should be able to find them in your book (possibly in an appendix) and online. Your household dictionary may also have them.

Look up "perimeter" and "rectangle" (not "volume" and "prism"), or do a search for these terms. Then memorize the correct formula.
