If an automobile license plate contains 2 letters followed by 4 numbers and order matters, how many different license plates are possible? Assume that none of the letters or numbers can be repeated.

I have:
26 x 25 x 10 x 9 x 8 x 7 = 3,276,000 possible plates
Thanks!

Ii says no repeats. So you are correct.

This is a harder problem than that. Is AA1111 a valid plate number?

If there were repeats allowed, wouldn't it be 26x26x10x10x10x10?
I decreased each number because there were no repeats allowed. No, AA1111 would not be a valid plate number:) How would you go about solving this?
