I know we're not supposed to post lists of homework problems, but these are the only problems I'll ever need help with. I'm cheating my way through algebra class, since it has nothing to do with my degree other than being an arbitrary requirement, and I've tried harder than you can imagine to learn this nonsense, but it's not happening. I can cheat anything but word problems. So I beg of you, please lend a hand.

A motel clerk counts his $1 and $10 bills at the end of a day. He finds that he has a total of 53 bills having a combined value of $161. Find the number of bills of each denomination he has. The Clerk has ___ ones, and ___ tens.

Arlington and Vernonville are 144 miles apart. A car leaves Arlington traveling towards Vernonvolle, and another car leaves Vernonville at the same time, traveling towards Arlington. The car leaving Arlington travels at 10mph more than the other car, and they meet after 1 hour and 36 minutes. What are the average speeds of the cars?
A boat's crew rowed 16 miles downstream, with the current, in 2 hours. The return trip upstream, against the current, covered the distance, but took 4 hours. Find the crew's rowing rate in still water and the rate of the current.
I don't care how they are solved, just need the answers to fill in my homework so I can move on. There might be one word problem on the test, and I'm comfortable missing it, just need to get through this crap so I can move on with my life. Thanks in advance!
