Find zeros of f(x) = xex + 8ex
I have tried to solve and keep getting errors.

You did not post your work, so I cannot comment on what you might have done wrongly.

My first step would be to factor x·e^x + 8·e^x because that will make the solution apparent. Remember, e^x is never zero or negative.

What do you mean by "getting errors"? Are you trying to plug something into your calculator?
