can you please help me solve this equation??

n/3-4=6
im not sure on how to start it. i know i have to find the value of n, im just not sure how.

ok, so basically, the point is to isolate the variable- n.
by adding four to each side, you get
n/3=10
then, to fully isolate "n", multiply both sides by 3 to get rid of the /3.
That gets you
n=30
that's your answer. To check, plug it in: 30/3 -4
10-4=6.
There, get it? :)
