I keep running into this problem that was on a review for Algebra. I can never work it out to the given solution. Can some one please tell me how to do this? It is negitive 5 divided by the fraction 19/19 divided by 57. The given solution is negitive 15/19. I know the secret is to multiply by the reciprocal, but I think I must be multiplying the wrong one. HELP!!
-5
-----
19 -15
--- = ----
19 19
-----
57

My numbers got squished by the message board! :?

You mean
(-5/19)/(19/57) =
(-5*57)/(19*19) =
-15/19
Or you can avoid getting squished by clicking the Code button twice then typing between the boxes
Code:
    -5
   ----
    19 -5 57 -15
_________ = ---- * --- = ----
    19 19 19 19
  -----
    57
