In mathematics, when multiplying two matrices should the product matrices always be in brackets? I ask this question because in one of my text book they wrote the answer without brackets, is this correct?
Can you show an image of what they wrote? You can use brackets or parentheses, as shown here. I suppose they aren't essential, but some sort of "skin" seems like a good idea to hold it together. I want to see the context of your question, to see if it makes sense.
