multiply and simplify

Please tell me if I am right.
(4) (-3/2) =
4x3 = 12, 4x2 = 8 = 12 x 8 = 96
Is this correct? Please help

when you multiply two fractions:

(a/b)*(c/d) = (a*c)/(b*d)

(4/1)*(-3/2) = (4*(-3))/(1*2) = -12/2 = -6
