Does the term "multilinear map" imply that a function is linear for each variable when you hold all of the others constant?

Also, what is a "alternating multilinear function?"

Also, is a bilinear function just a multilinear function of two variables?

Is the term "multilinear form" synonymous with "multilinear function" because that seems to be the way Wolfram treats it.
