Subject: Planet 3, Star AQ-498
The dominant species of this planet are bipedal, solid matter,
and quite advanced, both intellectually and technologically,
despite the fact that they are made of meat.
Yet they have primitive and mysterious customs
that we cannot begin to understand or explain.
At about this time during their orbit about their star,
they sit around a dead tree and eat candy from their socks.
