If a gram cost 250 dollars, how many grams would 280 dollars get?

What have you tried? It is hard to help if you show no work at all.
What if instead, it asked how many grams would $500 get? Exactly how would you do this problem? Just do the exact same procedure to the $280.

You surely have noticed that 280 is just slightly larger than 250 so the answer should be just slightly more than one gram. How much larger? 280 is 280- 250= 30 larger so is 30/250 as much.
