Hi there,

My question reads: Find the missing prime factor.

ex. 22 x 33 x ______ = 324.

Can someone help me please?

Yes, but not if you don't show us anything. Please demonstrate some concept of a Prime Factorization and we can talk.

2 x 33 ? Do you intend this typing to mean "two-squared times three-cubed" ?

Notes: Beginning with algebra, we no longer use "x" as a multiplication symbol; please type an asterisk, instead.

Also, we show exponents using the caret symbol (shifted-six, on most keyboards).

Here is how I read your posted equation:

2^2 * 3^3 * ____ = 324

It's easy to find the missing value.

First, calculate the given product: 2^2 * 3^3.

Then ask, "This product needs to be multiplied by what number, in order to get 324?"

Write the completed prime factorization using standard notation.

Do you have any specific questions about this exercise? 8-)
