Missing number

hi
I'm sure this if easy but I'm having a rough time.

the missing number should be the same for both problems.

Please explain. I don't see any "problems" here, just two lists. Is it claimed that in each case Y times the number above it yields the number below it? If so, Y is not exactly equal in each case.

Or is there something else involved other than multiplication? If so, you need to tell us the rules.
 
The answer is = first number you have the next number is missing, need to know what Y is. Might Y be different in each example, did you get the Y number in the first problem? I do not know the rules might figure out the rules if I get answer to Y

It has a dash after 5th number so it may be 2 problems in one.

I have no idea what this means. Did you leave out the hyphens the first time, and this is the correct form, or have you changed the problem?

Can you show us an image of the problem (puzzle?) exactly as given to you?
 
So you are saying that you have a list of numbers including y and that you want to find y? If I am correct, then what does the = mean?
Please show us the entire problem.
 
Lets do one problem only, the numbers on top is converted to numbers on bottom how did I get those numbers. Left hyphens out the first time. = is the bottom number.

This is getting more and more meaningless! What could a "hyphen" mean here? Are you sure is not a subtraction sign?
 
Please give us the EXACT AND COMPLETE instructions for the problem in English.

Your posts make no sense.
 
It is a program you put in the top number and it gives you the 2nd number Just thought it was some easy multiplying and % it was doing but looks like it is random. Got close with 19.1 % but was not exact number Thanks all

What happened to y and the equal sign. Possibly the space in the middle is for y but again where is the equal sign and what does it mean?
