Minimum Area problem

The top and bottom margins of a page are each 1.5cm and the side margins are each 1cm. The area of the printed portion of the page must be 30cm². What are the dimensions of the page of least area that satisfies these criteria?

My answers came out to be:

x = sqrt(20)+2
y = (30*sqrt(20))/(20)+3

Someone unwittingly comes along and helps you with this problem. Later, they encounter your posting of this same problem where you have stated this is a problem on your take-home final exam, i.e., a graded assignment.

Will they be happy that they have been "duped" into helping with a graded assignment?
