I need some help understand this, I don't get anything my teacher taught is in class today, and yes I was paying attention but I still don't get it. I need someone to write it out again, and explain it to me like I'm a first grader.

Is "this" what you mentioned in the subject line? (Subject lines frequently do not relate to the posts' contents, so please pardon me if this guess is in error.)

If so, then just think of "averaging" the x-coordinates and the y-coordinates. The midpoint is the "averaged" point.
