Please explain how to find the Median without a odd number of sets which would be the center, also please tell me how to find the range.....I think it's the last number of the set plus the first number of the set.

• to find the the median you need to find the number in the middle for example:

36781240

STEP 1:
put the numbers in numerical order
01234678

STEP 2:
find the two numbers in the middle
01234678

STEP3:
add both numbers togather, then devide them by 2
3+4
2

=7/2
that equals 3.5
