Hi all - new to the forum so thanks in advance for any help. I have a interesting problem I came a cross in building a spreadsheet recently. Essentially, I'm trying to maximize values in a data set with certain limitations. I'm fairly good with math overall and in college took all kinds of advanced math classes, but that was 6 years ago and I'm not entirely certain where to start. Can anyone help point me in the right direction here? Note that I am trying to build a general formula in excel for larger data sets with similar limitations. So the objective is to come up with a formula or methodology rather than an answer here. Thanks!
