I'm a first year university student in Multimedia and we had started Matrix in math. For a little while everything seemed to be quite easy...until the functions came in.

I have tried to solve the equation a lot of times but I could not make f(A) = 0
Here is what I am talking about. In this picture the A and f(x) is written up top.

Could somebody explain what I'm doing wrong? It would be very helpful!

Basically, I need help with this one problem. I have been sitting by it for a few hours now and I cannot put my finger on what am I doing wrong.

Here is the deal. I have a function f(x) = x^3 - 6x^2 + 11x - 6
I need to prove that f(A) = 0, but I simply cannot get a full row of 0's.

If you cannot see the A numbers correctly, they are:
1 -2 0
0 3 0
-1 4 2
Can anybody tell me or show me what am I doing wrong?

It looks to me like you may have computed A3 incorrectly. I got
A3 =
_1____-26_____0
_0_____27_____0
-7_____88_____8

where the underscores (___) have just been used to properly space the numbers.
