I need some graphing calculator help, can anybody help with the correct calculator operations for the following matrix question?

Solve the matrix equation AX = B for X by finding A-1, given A and B as follows. Use a graphing calculator to obtain your answer, rounding all numbers to four decimal places.

2 -1 3 -6
A = -3 4 -5 B = 2
-4 0 6 -1

Are you not allowed to do this by hand...? :shock:

If not, then review your owner's manual to learn what keystrokes to use.

go to the matrix menu, edit, and enter your given elements into matrix A and B one at a time. when you are done, go to the home screen.

from the home screen, go to the matrix menu, the number "1" will be highlighted by matrix A ... just press "enter" and matrix A will be pasted to the home screen.

your screen should have ...

[A]

hit the "x[sup:1vw4b3ol]-1[/sup:1vw4b3ol]" key, your screen should have ...

[A][sup:1vw4b3ol]-1[/sup:1vw4b3ol]

go back to the matrix menu, arrow down to #2 by matrix B and hit "enter". matrix B will be pasted to the home screen. your screen should now look like

[A][sup:1vw4b3ol]-1[/sup:1vw4b3ol]

press "enter", you should now see ...

[[-2.396551724]
[-3.086206897]
[-1.431034483]]

which are the elements of matrix X.

you are done.
